Game #10 vs Glad Tidings of Victoria

The Believer's showed that youth and speed can be matched by attitude and teamwork.Although Glad Tidings won the game 7-5,the B's were in it the whole game.Sean Pogue robbed GT of 3 or 4 sure goals early in the game.At 4 minutes into the 1'st a nice pass from Darrin Rae gave Marty Olsen a clear cut breakaway, and Mart made no mistake snapping the puck through the goaltender's legs.54 seconds later,Marty scored again on a rebound off a Greg Hollett shot. The score see-sawed back and forth and with 2 goals by Dennis Nadon and one by Darrin, the B's had a 5-4 lead after 2 periods.Sean frustrated GT as he stopped a barrage of odd man rushes ,never flinching while they peppered him continually. He alone kept the B's in the game.

Glad Tidings scored 4 unanswered goals in the 3'rd for the win.The young legs of the Victoria team proved too much for the B's .Maturity and discipline were exhibited througout the game,as some chippy play was evident. We can all be proud of the effort today of all 13 Believer's team members.

It is an honour to wear the "C" for this classy bunch of guys ! Way to give it your all Boyz ! Cap't Mart
