The 06 /07 Season Begins-Game #1 vs CRC Kings-Win 3-2

You could feel the excitement in the dressing room as the Believers were getting ready to hit the ice against The Christian Reformed Kings,Wednesday night at Fuller Lake Arena.
The B's got on the board first.Dennis used his patented wrist shot as Marty fed him streaking down the left side.The Kings answered ten minutes later,but Nate Hollett replied with back to back goals as his pop Greg assisted on both with bro' Ryan also getting a helper.The CRC Kings tied the game at 3 early in the final stanza.Midway through the third, new Believer Phil Cowley fed Marty a perfect pass which Mart one-timed into the back of the net.This proved to be the winning goal.The whole team played well as no-one and everyone stood out.Nathan commented after the game that he thought the Team played their best game ever.Tonight the B's exhibited teamwork as everyone played responsibly,gentlemanly,and non-selfishly.Newcomer Doug Simpson showed great wheels and finesse as he also had his debut for the Red-jerseyed Believers.
