Not Boring

The Believers and Oasis had another super game at Lake Cowichan on Saturday night.
Both teams played with only two lines but that did not slow down the game at all.
The teams were extremely well matched but the Oasis pulled out the 7-6 victory.
John Close had a great game scoring twice and assisting on two others. Mitch Clark also notched two goals. The defense played quite steady and always had to be ready for a Matt Foster rush. The opponents goalie made some fantastic saves early in the third period, which probably made the difference to the final outcome. Darren Isaacson
earned the Believers hardhat tonight for his consistent strong play, shutting down the Oasis forwards and doing so with a tough,yet respectful and mature attitude.Darrin is a great role model and a pleasure to have on the team.
