Game #8 vs Evangelistic Tabernacle of Nanaimo

Both teams had full rosters and were definitely ready to play tonight.Doug Simpson scored a natural hat-trick,the 3'rd being the eventual game winner in the Believer's 7-3 victory.Dennis Nadon assisted on all three.Sean Pogue had a strong game in net.

Ryan Hollett skated well tonight,pocketting two goals himself while playing solid defensively.Nathan played well ,scoring the 6'th goal.Darrin Rae came off the injured reserve and scored a nice goal,set up by Matt,who played well as always.

Tonight's game was fast,fun and no chippiness was evident.It is alwaysa good time when these two teams meet,and a rematch is in the works in Nanaimo this month.

Game #7 vs New Life Baptist

About 18 players battled the years first snowstorm to play a spirited affair albeit with only one goaltender.

Scott Hess was the night's leader as Marty was away due to a family issue.Eight guy's wore Believers red,including 4 new members - Kim MacGregor,Scott Carruthers,Doug's son in law Mark,and Dan Gillard.

Doug Simpson led the team ,earning the hardhat and Matt Stark skated miles again tonight.The final score was 8-4 for the New Life Team.A rematch is scheduled and the B's ,with the help of Sean Pogue in net ,will be ready after two losses to New Life.
