Game # 20 vs CRC Kings

The Believers were hoping to finally beat the CRC team after 3 consecutive losses.That didn't happen.The B's had a 5-2 lead, but ended up getting defeated 7-6. The Kings just never gave up and fully deserved the win. Sean Pogue played great tonight as he made many huge saves throughout the game to give the B's a chance to win. He also won the MVP Hardhat. The goal scorers for the B's were Kevin and Doug with 2 each, Matt and Darrin with 1 each .
When these two teams meet ,it is always an intense affair. Unfortunately, with the intense rivalry comes some chippy and questionable play. Hopefully as a team, the Believers will use these kind of games as learning tools, so that next year, the B's will be able to lead by example and gain maturity from every game.

Game #19 vs The Oasis Church

There was lots of energy in the building tonight. Both teams were pumped up and ready to play.
The Believers owned the first half, while the Oasis came on in the second. The 6-6 tie was a very fair outcome. The scoring was spread amongst all the players as Matt, Dan, Paul, Kevin, Doug and Nathan scored. The defence of Dan, Scott, Chris and the Hardhat winner Ed played a key role in this tie. Sean Pogue played great in net as he made many saves and only some fortuitous bounces allowed the Oasis to get a couple of their goals. The Believers play their final game of the season on Saturday against the CRC Kings.
